Driveway Gravel
1" minus driveway base in three varieties including red or buff
colored limestone and a crushed concrete/blacktop mix. All
varieties meet Class 5 MN DOT specifications. |
Fabric and Plastic Underlayment
Fabric: The Typar brand comes in 3 oz weight (a heavy
commercial grade), in rolls of
3'x50', 3'x100', 3'x300', 4'x300' and 75"x300' and is black in
color. This product is used for weed control in gardens and
under decks, soil retention for timber and stone retaining walls
and in planters, as part of a blind drain and support for brick

Plastic: Plastic underlayment is black and comes in 6 mil thickness
and 6'x100' & 10'x100' rolls.
Plastic Edging
Ace of Diamonds edging, made by Valley View Industries, comes in
20' strips with stake kits for bordering a landscaping project.

Sand
Fine Sand: Fine washed sand which is used in plaster and stucco,
installed with brick pavers, golf course sand traps, under
swimming pools or for mortar in masonry work.
Salt Sand: Used to control ice in the winter and is mixed with
20% salt.
Coarse Sand: Coarse washed sand is used in children’s play
areas, volleyball courts, beaches or for mixing concrete.
Fill Sand: Used for clean fill under
concrete slabs, for soil corrections under roads & building
pads, for backfilling, etc.
